摘要: Flying-spot displays require light sources in the red, green and blue with a high optical output power nearly diffraction limited beams. In this paper we present experimental results of red-emitting, AlGaInP based, tapered diode lasers their integration into laser modules. The modules emit collimated, almost beam an as 1W at wavelength close to 635 nm. chips were designed emphasis on achieving good quality vertical lateral directions collimated beam. To test suitability for flying-spot display applications, performed fiber coupling experiments low mode number etendue 6 × 10−6 mm2 sr. A maximum transmission 70% launched behind uncoated well usable excess 580mW measured.
