摘要: Approximate computing is best suited for error resilient applications, such as signal processing and multimedia. reduces accuracy, but it still provides meaningful faster results with usually lower power consumption, this particularly attractive arithmetic circuits. In paper, a new design approach proposed to exploit the partitions of partial products using recursive multiplication compressor-based approximate multipliers. Four multiplier designs are 4:2 compressors. Extensive simulation show that achieve significant accuracy improvement together delay reductions compared previous designs. An image application also presented efficiency
