摘要: The potentially functional polymorphism Arg72Pro in p53 gene has been implicated glioma risk, but published studies have mixed findings. aim of current investigation was to identify whether significantly associated with the risk glioma. By searching databases PubMed, EMBASE, and Web Science, our meta-analysis included ten eligible consisting 2,645 cases 3,920 control subjects. association between assessed by summarizing odds ratios (ORs) corresponding 95 % confidence intervals (CIs). We found that there no overall relation any genetic model polymorphism. Similar results were analyses which are subgrouped ethnicity source controls. This nonsignificant remained stable when restrained consistent HWE. In conclusion, meta-analysis, based on combined data from papers before May 2013, reveals evidence for significant risk.
