Prophylactic antibiotics interferon gamma have reduced infections, but there also danger of life-threatening We assessed efficacy itraconazole as prophylaxis against serious infections chronic disease. Methods Thirty-nine at least 5 years old (6 female 33 male; mean age, 14.9 years) were enrolled randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study.
