摘要: Invasive fungal infections are a major threat for chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) patients. The present study provides comprehensive overview of published invasive in the CGD host through an extensive review epidemiological, clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic data. In addition to often mild clinical presentation, currently used diagnostics aspergillosis have low sensitivity patients cannot be easily translated this non-neutropenic host. Aspergillus fumigatus A. nidulans most commonly isolated species. seldom reported other immunocompromised patients, indicating unique interaction between fungus occurrence mucormycosis is mainly noted setting treatment inflammatory complications with immunosuppressive drugs. Candida infrequently seen do not cause mucocutaneous but show age-dependent presentation. patient susceptible wide range pathogens, need determine causative fungus, by diagnostics, guide optimal rational treatment. This summarizes current understanding will serve as starting point strategies direct further research aimed at improving outcomes.
