摘要: The extract from Pelargonium zonale stalks exhibits activity against Candida albicans and exerts an effect on the HeLa cell line. action C. cells was analysed using light, CLSM, SEM, TEM microscopes. observations indicate that influenced fungal morphology metabolic activity. morphological changes include wall damage, deformations of surfaces, abnormalities in shape size. Cells treated with exhibited disturbances budding pattern a tendency to form agglomerates multicellular chains. P. caused significant decrease cells. died via both apoptosis necrosis. antitumor MTT assay. minor cytotoxicity line but dose-dependent cytopathic noticed. is promising source for isolation antifungal anticancer compounds.
