摘要: The ciliary epithelium of spiny dogfish eyes has previously been used for studies epithelial electrolyte transport and the results are found to be comparable those obtained in mammals. In this study we report ultrastructure enzyme histochemistry comparison with that contrast mammals, lens is connected anterior middle part by a broad zonula-like suspensory ligament short ventral papilla, while posterior region mainly free fibers. non-pigmented (NPE) shows numerous membrane infoldings, interdigitations many mitochondria cytoplasm as well histochemical staining Na+, K+-ATPase carbonic anhydrase (CA). These findings similar seen pars plicata mammals which involved aqueous secretion. part, NPE cells have only few infoldings cytoplasm, but abundant surfaces rough endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes golgi material, indicating protein synthesis. Histochemically stain not CA. plana where pigmented (PE) nearly no an intensive one CA, PE heavily stained all regions eye, show
