摘要: PURPOSE Anterior chamber associated immune deviation (ACAID) is an antigen-specific form of peripheral tolerance that induced to exogenous antigens placed in the ocular anterior chamber, which leads a suppression delayed-type hypersensitivity (DTH). Considerable work has been done on ACAID induction major histocompatibility (MHC) alloantigens. However, its role cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) activity currently unknown. METHODS C57BL/6 (H-2(b)) mice received intracameral (IC) inoculation with BALB/c (H-2(d)) splenocytes. Splenic CD4(+) and CD8(+) cell populations were characterized by flow cytometry proliferation assays during expression phases ACAID. Percentages CD4(+)CD25(+)FoxP3(+) regulatory cells (Treg) also followed. Lastly, CTL function was measured at various time points expression, Treg added identify potential alterations function. RESULTS percentages increased spleen but then sharply decreased response allospecific immunization. Expression exhibited significant drop while expansion observed, these did not directly mediate inhibition. CONCLUSIONS mediates inhibition against MHC Furthermore, we found diminishment due impairment. expand induction. our data suggest do inhibit activity.
