Knowledge Base Representation for an Expert System Capable of Self-Extension Through Natural Langauge Text Analysis

摘要: An ongoing research project in the Department of Computer Science at Mississippi State University involves development appropriate knowledge representation tools and natural language processing to provide capability for an expert system extend its own base by text machine readable form. This paper describes methods being used early prototype such a system. The is arranged what called multilevel semantic network, which collection networks logical partitions. Some complex issues surrounding self-updating dealing with contradictory information, recognizing redundant detecting relevancy new information are also discussed.
