摘要: This article focusses on the derivation of large lexicons for natural language processing. We describe development a dictionary support environment linking restructured version Longman Dictionary Contemporary English to processing systems. The process restructuring information in machine readable is discussed. grammar code system used construct 'theory neutral' lexical entries. demonstrate how such entries can be put practical use by up described here with experimental PATR-II environment. Finally, we offer an evaluation utility coding automatic parsing
