摘要: Abstract In this paper we present a comparison of neutral wind measurements made by rockets with ionospheric drift observations the partial reflection method. The experiment was located at Woomera rocket range (31°S, 136°E), site being chosen to provide as good spatial overlap possible determinations various techniques. This has enabled study be validity identifying drifts motions corresponding heights. experimental arrangement is described and results detailed comparisons in 60–90 km height region falling spheres dropsondes are discussed. It shown that agreement between simultaneous method appears capable measuring velocities mesosphere time resolution.
