摘要: The dominant part of the O-antigen Vibrio cholerae is a homopolysaccharide composed (1 leads to 2)-linked 4-amino-4,6-dideoxy-alpha-D-mannopyranosyl (perosaminyl) residues, in amino groups which are acylated by 3-deoxy-L-glycero-tetronic acid. Most sugar decomposed during acid hydrolysis. Treatment polymer with anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, cleaves glycosidic linkages but does not cause N-deacylation, followed hydrolysis under mild conditions, produced monomer good yield. N-deacylated polysaccharide nitrous caused deamination concomitant rearrangements, typical 4-amino-4-deoxyhexopyranosyl residues group occupies an equatorial position.
