摘要: Clostridium botulinum “progenitor toxin” is defined as the ancestral toxin appearing first in foods and culture.2 It now known that progenitor a complex of toxic nontoxic component (Fig. 1). The molecule dissociates when exposed to pH 7.2 or higher. dissociated was named “derivative toxin.”2 derivative true “neurotoxin,” but it does not seem entitled be called “botulinum toxin,” because highly only administered parenterally; ingestion would cause botulism. “Botulism” term used designate neuroparalytic disease such caused by oral sausages containing toxin.
