摘要: Chemical composition and lipid biosynthesis were studied in the marine eustigmatophyte Nannochloropsis sp. Grown under a 12:12 h light-dark regime. Cellular division occurred dark was associated with reduction cell volume. The cellular content of chlorophyll carotenoids increased during light period decreased period. Other components, such as proteins, carbohydrates lipids, followed similar pattern. Incorporated acetate, mostly into lipids period, whereas low rate acetate incorporation observed nonlipid compounds. Neutral triacylglycerol synthesized accumulated showed rapid turnover dark. Polar structural monogalactosyl diacylglycerol hardly turned over Changes variations fatty acid composition. characterized by an increase percentage C16:0 16:1 acids triacylglycerols. However, triglycerides consumed for maintenance, relative distribution C20:5 galactolipids increased.
