摘要: Previous work established the importance of fibrous substrate topography in obtaining good adhesion polyethylene to matt black oxide films formed on copper alkaline solution. In this paper effect very rough surface is shown be general. Anodising treatments for and zinc a high temperature oxidation steel are described which give consisting (respectively) fibrous, dendritic blade-like growths. The peel strength these substrates even under circumstances, example when polymer stabilised with anti-oxidant, where chemically similar smooth low. associated large amounts energy being dissipated during peeling plastic deformation near interface. It suggested that caused by development shear stress concentration at fibre ends causing yielding volume polymer.
