Toxicity of various insecticides against Delhi and Palla population of brown plant hopper (Nilaparvata lugens)

摘要: Toxicity of different insecticides recommended to control brown plant hopper Nilaparvata lugens (Stal) was evaluated in the laboratory against insect populations collected from Delhi and its surrounding village Palla. Results showed that endosulfan most effective with lowest lethal concentrations being 0.0007% both populations. The values relative toxicity when calculated comparison LC 50 value monocrotophos it observed acetamiprid, thiamethoxam, flubendamide, clothinidine mixture flubendamide + fipronil were less toxic than monocrotophos, whereas imidacloprid, chlopyriphos more N. lugens. Based on derived basis 97.5 values, highly among tested.
