摘要: Carbon dioxide decomposition in a micro-slit sustained glow discharge reactor operated at low pressure of 8 Torr was studied experimentally. A specially designed with configuration, combined third electrode that allows the extraction electrons from discharge, used to extend volume discharge. It is found that, increase applied voltage electrode, both conversion fraction and energy efficiency CO2 increase. The three-electrode structure also extended parallel operation investigate effects voltage, flow rate, number units on decomposition. maximum 7.2% achieved rate 30 ml/min power 2.1 W for single unit, while three discharges connected parallel, 26.2% 2 ml/min 6.6 W. results demonstrate feasibility discharges, increasing increases high rates. better understanding physical chemical kinetic processes will lead optimization future reactors improve efficiency.
