摘要: Abstract Primary adenocarcinoma of the cervix and endocervix is an unusual lesion. It cytologically evasive, diagnostically challenging, histologically variable, therapeutically perplexing. During period 1954 through 1971, 53 cases were diagnosed at Medical College Virginia, representing 3 per cent all invasive cervical carcinomas. Clinical material, therapy, five-year survival statistics have been compiled for each histologic type adenocarcinoma. The average age patients was 53.8 years, most frequent complaint abnormal uterine bleeding. Histologically, majority had adenocarcinomas endocervical type. Others, in order descending frequency, endometrioid, clear cell, colloid, adenoid cystic Patients treated endometrioid carcinomas best rates. Standardization diagnostic process use modern radiation therapy significantly improved survival. All having plus operation or alone lived five years more.
