摘要: Hydrochloric acid (HCl) secretion by the gastric parietal cell is controlled a complex interplay of neural, paracrine and endocrine pathways with peptides in central nervous system (CNS) gastrointestinal (GI) tract playing an important role all these processes. The classic approach to defining characterizing secretory control mechanisms separates events controlling into cephalic, intestinal phases. Within each phase excitatory inhibitory are considered. In intact organism phases overlap, greatly increasing complexity process. challenge investigators past present has been devise methods that allow accurate quantitation characterization events. No single experimental model can accomplish goals it only through integration results obtained from various vivo vitro models different species we hope understand involved.
