摘要: Research on computer system resilience, indeed dependability and security generally, suffers from fragmentation into numerous partly-overlapping communities, inconsistencies in terminology. As a partial response to this situation, we report the development use of Resilience Knowledge Base (RKB) which currently contains over 60 million information items drawn publication repositories funding agencies worldwide. We describe RKB technology, showing how it can support exploration research space using semantic web techniques ameliorate difficulties caused by differences discuss potential for Resilience-Explicit Computing, decision select tool or configure component among alternatives is supported metadata-based mechanism descriptions. The Explorer identify indirect but potentially significant inter-relationships not only between people,between these about tools, components training materials.
