摘要: Abstract. We present a Semantic Web application that we call CS AKTive Space. The exploits wide range of semantically heterogeneous and distributed content relating to Computer Science research in the UK. This is gathered on continuous basis using variety methods including harvesting scraping as well adopting models for acquisition. currently comprises around five million RDF triples have developed storage, retrieval maintenance support its management. mediated through an ontology constructed domain incorporates components from other published ontologies. Space supports exploration patterns implications inherent visualisations multi dimensional representations. Knowledge services supported include investigating communities practice: who working, researching or publishing with whom. work illustrates number substantial challenges Web. These problems referential integrity, tractable inference interaction support. review our approaches these issues discuss relevant related work. Socio technical are outlined seen be critical success failure endeavour.
