摘要: Abstract Background Depression influences a worker's productivity and health substantially. Recently, the Japanese society government reported that working overtime is one of primary causes depression suicide in workers. However, only few studies have investigated relation between hours mental status, conclusions vary. In addition, prior findings are inconsistent terms lifestyle factors, including alcohol intake smoking. Additional required to clarify possible risk factors Methods We performed case-control cohort study. Subjects were office workers four companies. Diagnosis was made by two psychiatrists who conducted independent clinical interviews using DSM-IV-TR criteria. Results There no significant association onset depression.
