摘要: The mechanisms whereby exogenous growth hormone modulates intestinal structure and function in fish were investigated. Goldfish (Carassius auratus) fed commercial flake diet sprayed with recombinant carp (cGH) daily for 1 month. Control animals received food the vehicle. After month of feedings, body mass length determined, sacrificed to study characteristics. Sections foregut removed after determination total gut measurement leucine uptake, histology, epithelial ultrastructure. Oral administration cGH resulted a 40% increase an 8% above controls.
