摘要: Allergic contact dermatitis, the clinical manifestation of hypersensitivity, is one most common disorders skin. It elicited upon multiple cutaneous re-exposure sensitized individuals to sensitizing agent. In this study, we demonstrate that using IL-18 binding protein (IL-18BP) neutralize significantly reduced symptoms in a murine model hypersensitivity. Furthermore, IL-18BP alleviated relapses during established disease, as indicated by significant protection mice had previously undergone hypersensitivity response without treatment. Although edema was not influenced, number T cells homing sites inflammation, resulting diminished local production IFN-gamma. Thus, preventing accumulation effector target tissue, appears be potent protective mediator counter skin inflammation Taken together with evidence present tissue samples human our data reinforces candidate for therapeutic indication.
