摘要: JAK/STAT pathway is one of cytokine signaling pathways and mediates diversity immune responses to protect host from viral infection. In this study, LvSOCS2, a member suppressor (SOCS) families, has been cloned identified Litopenaeus vannamei. The full length LvSOCS2 1601 bp, including an 1194 bp open reading frame (ORF) coding for putative protein 397 amino acids with calculated molecular weight ∼42.3 kDa. expression was most abundant in gills could respond the challenge LPS, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Staphhylococcus aureus, Poly (I: C) white spot syndrome virus (WSSV). There are several STAT binding motifs presented proximal promoter region its induced by LvJAK or LvSTAT dose dependent manner, suggesting be transcriptional target gene pathway. Moreover, transcription DmVir-1, read out activation Drosophila, promoted but inhibited indicating that negative regulator thus can form feedback loop. Our previous study indicated shrimp played positive role against WSSV. RNAi-mediated knockdown shrimps showed lower susceptibility WSSV infection caused lessened loads, which further demonstrated function as anti-viral immunity shrimp.
