摘要: The front seats of 108 vehicles were examined for the presence two types commonly occurring fibres, so-called “target” fibres. A total 8436 fibres was removed from comparison using standard methods. maximum number matching found on any one seat 13; and in vehicle, 20. In only sufficiently large enough numbers present to suggest primary transfer seats, probable source garments these being both cases. vehicle matches target fibre. No recovered vinyl-covered seats. These results indicate that when more than type or colour are a car seat, evidence contact appears be highly significant.
