摘要: Fibres are probably the most abundant form of trace material. They can be used to provide evidence in a wide variety criminal cases. The processing fibre forensic science laboratory divided into recovery, identification, comparison and evaluation. This article reviews each these aspects detail, illustrating how examination has developed over past two decades. State art microscopical instrumental techniques presented. Literature concerning fibres their been extensively reviewed with intent providing scientists complete, current concise report on this topic. Background information dyes, optical brighteners, delustrants flame retardants is also provided. A section devoted considering e evidential value fibres. includes details colour measurement use data bases. Looking future, increasing production new types developments textile technology which may help discussed. Microspectrofluorimetry FTIR-microscopy receive attention as offering potential for future. Finally, sources additional provided several types.
