摘要: Abstract Physically crosslinked complexes of polyvinyl pyrrolidinone-poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) (PVP-PNIPAAm) were prepared by photopolymerisation from a mixture the monomers 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidinone and N-isopropylacrylamide. IR spectroscopy calorimetry used to characterise resulting xerogels. By alternating monomer feed ratio, copolymers synthesised have their own distinctive lower critical solution temperature (LCST). The transition gels was established using cloud point measurement modulated differential scanning calorimeter (MDSC). This ability shift phase provides excellent flexibility in tailoring transitions for specific uses. Swelling experiments performed on copolymer disks distilled water at varying temperatures establish behaviour above below temperature. results obtained show that temperature, are soluble but this they slightly less soluble; significantly or insoluble; depending composition LCST gel.
