摘要: Background: Quantitation of serum hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA has proven useful in assisting with patient management and treatment several commercially available assays have been developed to quantify HBV-DNA levels. Methods: The performance the cross-linking assay branched-DNA signal amplification (bDNA) for quantitative measurement was studied 99 surface antigen-positive viraemic patients. Results: Of these samples, 82 (83%) were positive by both four (4%) below cut-off assays. remaining 13 10 contained measurable levels alone three other samples bDNA alone. sensitivity gain relative this study population 10/92 (11%). In addition, a linear regression analysis showed that obtained from significantly correlated (γ = 0.974, P < 0.0001). Conclusions: These findings suggest recently is more sensitive than determination HBV-DNA.
