摘要: We surveyed insect galls in an area of Cerrado sensu stricto and Gallery forest the municipality Caetite (BA) to contribute current knowledge local flora its associated gall-inducing insects. Monthly collections were made between February/2015 January/2016, totaling 12 field campaigns (involving two or three people lasting four hours) that followed established path through countryside. A total 63 gall morphotypes identified on 47 host plant species belonging 22 families; 17 found 46 vegetation. The families showing greatest richness Leguminosae (n=15), Myrtaceae (n=9), Asteraceae (n=7). with number was Mimosa gemmulata Barneby (Leguminosae) (n=3). Most observed leaves (66%) stems (24%); they mostly green (49.3%) brown (26%), globoid shapes (39.7%) marginal roll (17.4%), unilocular (87%), glabrous (62%) isolated (89%). Cecidomyiidae (Diptera) principal fauna principally composed Hymenoptera. Eight taxa recorded for first time as hosts galling fauna.
