摘要: A geomagnetic depth sounding profile in the western Cordillera has revealed concentrations of electric current related to tectonics region. The east-west at approximately 46°30′N extends from coast just east Cascade volcanic belt. In region effect a 50-min period was similar results other tectonically active areas such as California and southeastern Australia. Stations near zone had anomalous response functions; clearcut reversal both in-phase quadrature components observed direction induction arrows across zone. Based on similarity between analyzed data curves line model, anomaly can be approximated by long, narrow conductor trending north-south direction. This conductive does not extend far north previously measured southern British Columbia.
