摘要: Abstract Geophysical, geological, and seismicity data are combined to develop a transpressional strain model for the southern Washington Cascades region. We use this explain oblique fold fault systems, transverse faults, linear seismic zone just west of Mt. Rainier known as western zone. also attempt concentration earthquakes that connects northwest-trending Mount St. Helens north-trending Our tectonic illustrates pervasive effects accretionary processes, with subsequent transpressive forces generated by subduction, on Eocene present crustal such volcanism.
