摘要: This study aimed to evaluate, by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), the cleaning flattened root canals, varying irrigation/aspiration protocols during biomechanical preparation. Thirdy human mandibular incisors were distributed into three groups (n = 10) according aspiration/irrigation protocols: conventional, conventional + brush, and apical negative pressure irrigation. Irrigation procedure was performed with 5 mL 1% NaOCl at each change instrument; final irrigation conducted 17% EDTA for min. After preparation, roots sectioned prepared SEM analysis. The images obtained evaluated under 35× 1,000× magnification calibrated examiners, following a double-blind design. All data analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis Dunn's post hoc tests (α 0.05). Canals wherein method employed revealed less debris, statistically different from brush group (p 0.05), both presence debris smear layer. In conclusion, although none studied have completely cleaned more effective in layer removal, whereas protocol least removing
