摘要: Abstract Oxy-steam combustion, as an alternative option of oxy-fuel combustion technology, is considered a promising CO 2 capture technology for restraining emissions from power plants. To attain its comprehensive process characteristics, simulation, thermodynamic assessment, and sensitivity analysis oxy-steam pulverized-coal-fired plants are investigated whilst corresponding /O recycled (oxy-CO combustion) plant served the base case comparison. Techno-economic evaluation integration with solar parabolic trough collectors also discussed to justify economic feasibility improve performance further, respectively. It found that exhibits better than oxy-CO on both aspects, in which cost electricity decreases about 6.62% net efficiency exergy increase 0.90 1.01 percentage points, The increment oxygen concentration oxidant (20–45 mol.%) decrease excess coefficient (1.01–1.09) certain range favorable improving system performance. Moreover, can be improved when considering heating water, even though increases 2 $/(MW h).
