摘要: Understanding ore breakage is the key for development of appropriate characterisation experiments. Hence, there has been significant effort to understand a single event, both from experimental and modelling standpoints. One particularly interesting approach consider particle, instance in drop weight tester, as sequence primary secondary components. Secondary defined subsequent progeny that takes place after fracture parent particle due surplus energy provided by comminution or testing device. This influences spatial distribution fragments well their selection. Due complex nature breakage, most researches past have either dedicated understanding basic element every process describe whole. However, progression may be modelled properly incorporating sequential into model. In paper, novel proposed event it through several stages while appreciating effect fragmentation. The model three main components: selection, classification functions. data served basis demonstrating this were number impact experiments an load cell on quartz apatite particles. results indicate good correspondence between fit. Additionally, sensitivity analysis changes selection functions was performed, which indicated strong dependency its sub-processes. It envisaged will allow decoupling contributions stressing conditions outcome event.
