摘要: Goal: The goal is to evaluate infections associated with central venous catheters of hemodialysis (CRI) in patients Ouagadougou. Patients and methods: study was cross-sectional, from February 15th June 30th, 2015. It conducted Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso). We included a new catheter (CVC) inserted the unit. timeout for making an arteriovenous fistula (AVF) chronic may exceed six months. CVCs used at time were made polyurethane non-tunneled. Sociodemographic, clinical paraclinical data collected analyzed. Results: During period, 156 installed 114 patients, average age 41.8 ± 17.1 years. A CRI occurred on 39 rate 9.5/1000 days-catheter. frequency 28.4%, 20.6% 20% respectively femoral, jugular, subclavian veins. culture tip done 21 cases. Fifteen germs have been identified: eight cases Gram-positive cocci (53.3%) seven Gram-negative bacilli (46.7%). essentially staphylococci (eight cases). In univariate analysis, period use CVC over 10 days significantly (p = 0.01; r 2.91) catheter-related infection (CRI). Conclusion: impact very high our series. factor analysis long CVC. most diligent production AVFs YO-UHC would contribute significant reduction CRI.
