摘要: Rating of perceived exertion (RPE) is a scale exercise difficulty and has been hypothesized to be regulator work rate during self-pacing. The goal this was develop dynamic prediction RPE characterize the control strategy employed reduce self-paced using as feedback. Training test data were acquired from literature linear regression function four physiological variables: core temperature, mean-weighted skin metabolic rate, integral relative oxygen consumption (R 2 = 0.85). A thermoregulatory model used predict temperature. Utilizing cycling running literature, we characterized reductions in with proportional-derivative algorithm Bland–Altman analysis revealed necessity parameterize equations for untrained endurance-trained individuals. Afterwards, predictions accurate wide range activity levels air temperatures walking, running, (LoA bias 2.3 −0.03, respectively). For exercise, trend magnitude showed regulated less conservative shorter vs. longer duration exercise. novel methodology intensity, based upon physiologic response, provided. complete useful tool that estimates performance decrements predicts tolerance time exhaustive fixed-rate
