摘要: A dielectric shell model is considered to describe the optical properties of spherical multishell fullerenes, also called carbon onions. The based on tensor graphite, here adapted geometry molecules. used calculate absorption spectrum isolated onions in region π plasmon, from which possible presence interstellar dust discussed. With aim explaining available experimental data obtained laboratory, same for computing transmittance onion films, and electron energy loss valence-band excitations.
