摘要: The merits of alternative rotor topologies for a switched reluctance machine that is to be embedded within the high-pressure region civil aircraft engine are discussed. constraints imposed by conventional designs due limited mechanical strength laminations highlighted finite element analysis stress distribution. A modular structure proposed which facilitates significant reduction in laminations, and thereby an increase diameters. Both two- three-dimensional analyses employed compare electromagnetic performance with against two machines having rotors.
