摘要: Evidence for the formation of NeMu*, an isotopic analog Rydberg molecule NeH*, has been obtained from observation chemiluminescent emission in near‐infrared region. This is first spectroscopic detection a muonium‐containing molecule. NeMu* was formed by stopping 4 MeV muon (μ+) beam target vessel containing 1–6 atm Ne and ∼1 Torr Ar. The wavelength spectrum emission, ∼680–1000 nm, measured using variable‐wavelength filter, with resolution ±12.5 nm. Lower spectra were also taken series long pass filters. A complete histogram photon events vs time collected each wavelength. Two strong transitions are observed, centered at 818 943 Identification made comparison experimental simulated based on detailed ab initio calculations, extended to higher excitation levels than had heretofore reported. Both theoretical results reported here. Althoug...
