摘要: Abstract This study investigated how affective factors like attitude and motivation contribute to science achievement in PISA 2006 using linear structural modeling. The data set of collected from 4942 fifteen-year-old Turkish students (2290 females, 2652 males) was used for the statistical analyses. A total 42 selected items on a four point Likert-type scale were initially subjected Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) resulting seven with variance 64.82%. Confirmatory (CFA) later performed cross-validation factor structures data. Furthermore, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) also utilized test proposed model representing relationship among students' scores 2006. results indicated that hypothesized fits well. revealed that, general, contributed significantly either positively or negatively 15 year-old achievement. In addition, observed be predictors based set, but they are not good due their low magnitude. light findings, implications presented further studies.
