摘要: Abstract The increasing use of small wind energy has made it necessary to develop new methods improve the efficiency this technology. This improvement is best achieved considering interaction between various components, such as rotors, electrical generators, rectifiers and inverters, opposed studying individual components in isolation. paper describes a methodology increase Small Wind Turbines (SWTs) equipped with Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM). To achieve objective, capacitor banks will be connected PMSM rectifier. motivated by two clear aims. first one operate SWT its maximum power coefficient Cp. second select most suitable bank for each speed optimise supplied grid. tested on commercial 3.5 kW SWT, results studied determine feasibility.
