摘要: Abstract The purpose of this research is to demonstrate an application TOC's thinking process (TP) in a blood bank environment. We take example real-life which struggling with the problems high shortage and wastage products, large inventory levels, poor erratic collection, limited product variety, error rate, turnover technicians, operating expenses low revenue levels. show using TOC approach how these seemingly unrelated faced by are fact highly inter-related they all originate from single root-cause. A current reality tree (CRT) used identify root cause responsible for major problems. conflict resolution diagram (CRD) constructed core-conflict(s) bank's performance. simple yet powerful solution generated given breaking core-conflict resulting paradigm constraint banking. future (FRT) then will help lowering its levels spite collecting lesser number units donation camps. be able significantly cut down inventories can issue fresher patients. Blood increase while expense decrease due approach. rate as well technicians laboratory also reduce considerably. simulation model shows that proposed annual red cells 66% platelets 82% at bank. Similarly, 93%, plasma 99% 98%. average level drop 41%, 95% 10%. contribution TP tools extremely constructing win-win solutions complex systems like banks addressing their integrated fashion. reveals one widely-held belief banking world main reason behind banks' state affairs. presented should readily applicable other improve operational financial
