摘要: Abstract Obesity induces chronic low-grade inflammation which fosters innate and adaptive immune dysfunctions. Additionally, obesity increases the risk of several types cancer, including renal cell carcinoma, postmenopausal breast endometrial cancer. The rising prevalence in US adults adolescents will likely precede heightened percentages obese patients with these cancers, makes studying them context essential for developing effective therapies. Despite significant achievements cancer immunotherapies preclinical models, successful clinical translation therapies has been underwhelming. Investigating basis immunotherapeutic failure is crucial improving response rate. As a major comorbidity many patients, contributor to diminished immunity, understanding extent alters responses tumors absence or presence immune-based therapy crucial. Here, we have summarized current knowledge regarding multifaceted relationship between obesity, efficacy.
