摘要: The location of any event imaged by P‐wave reflection seismic data beneath a tilted transversely isotropic (TTI) overburden is shifted laterally if velocities are used during processing. magnitude the shift depends on five independent parameters: thickness, angle tilt, symmetry‐axis velocity, and Thomsen anisotropy parameters δ. also varies with source–receiver offset.We have developed procedure to estimate these when tilt symmetry axis from vertical equal dip TTI layer (except in special cases transverse isotropy or horizontal symmetry).
