摘要: An organophilic clay gellant useful for gelling organic liquids is disclosed which comprises the reaction product of (a) a smectite-type having cation exchange capacity at least 75 milliequivalents per 100 grams said clay; (b) primary anion selected from group consisting anions derived sulfonic acids, alkylsulfates and mixtures thereof containing one lineal or branched alkyl greater than 9 carbon atoms, aromatic acids thereof; (c) secondary different pKa less about 11.0 (d) an amount sufficient to satisfy in cationic activity wherein resulting cation-organic complexes are intercalated with combination synergistically increases ease dispersion liquid.
