摘要: Experiments are described in which a protein-free extract of plasma obtained from anemic rabbits was injected into healthy young rats. The resulting erythropoietic response comparable to that induced by hypoxia. findings suggest humoral factor at work capable disturbing the physiologic mechanisms establish equilibrium between red blood cell formation and destruction. far-reaching significance these is apparent.
