摘要: Endothelial cell migration was studied following a mechanical injury produced in cultured confluent monolayers of calf aortic endothelium with the use quantitative assay. In this method cells were grown on glass coverslips coated scarlet red-containing Formvar. At confluency, cultures cut half blade; one removed pigmented Formvar, and other returned to culture. Migration linear for least 96 hours, due motility, not proliferation. Since it blocked presence L-azetidine carboxylic acid or cis-hydroxyproline, inhibitors collagen secretion, endothelial appeared be dependent continual secretion collagen. Furthermore, types, apparent relative amounts, localizations collagens as well laminin changed during migratory process. These studies support notion that response is dynamic requiring modulation matrix molecules.
