摘要: Parafollicular cells in mammalian thyroid glands are thought to be responsible for the secretion of calcitonin. In this study, calcitonin was localized pig gland by an indirect immunocytochemical technique using rabbit antiserum directed against synthetic porcine first step, and sheep Fab fragments prepared coupled cytochrome c second step. The antigenic determinants were present only parafollicular cells, whose secretory granules heavily labeled. Labeling cytoplasmic matrix is indicate a possible leakage polypeptide from granules. A striking observation complete absence labeling cisternae rough-surfaced endoplasmic reticulum Golgi apparatus. It concluded that contain calcitonin; mechanism synthesis peptide not clearly understood.
