摘要: Abstract The current study investigates the biochemical and histopathological effects of taxifolin on acrylamide-induced kidney damage. A 50 mg/kg dose was administered via oral gavage to taxifolin + acrylamide (TACR) group (n-6) consisting male albino Wistar rats. same volume distilled water used as solvent orally acrylamide (ACR) healthy (HG) groups. One hour after administration water, a 20 mg/kg TACR ACR This procedure repeated once day for 30 days. In group, malondialdehyde (MDA), tumour necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) levels were found be high, total glutathione (tGSH) low, there severe interstitial haemorrhage; additionally, tubular necrosis, atrophy, leucocyte infiltration, glomerular structures with expanded Bowman’s space observed. where increase MDA, IL-1β, TNF-α decrease tGSH associated have been prevented, any finding other than mild atrophic tubules not found. suggests that Taxifolin would prevent tissue from damage effective in treating nephrotoxicity, inhibiting IL-1β TNF-α, decreasing acrylamide.
